Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

We invite abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations at the Dynamics meeting. Your abstract will be reviewed by peers with expertise in the area. You are invited to request either an oral or poster presentation. If your abstract is accepted, however, the type of presentation will be determined by peer reviews and time constraints.

This year, we will be using the Indico platform for abstract submission and review. You will be prompted to create a user account to submit an abstract if you do not already have one. Detailed instructions for creating a user account are provided at this wiki page.

Instructions

Title: Type the title of the abstract in CAPITAL LETTERS.

Content: Abstracts should not be longer than 300 words. Use the rich text input field labeled Content to enter your abstract text. This field accepts plain text, Markdown or HTML syntax; a preview of your rendered text will be displayed below this input field.

Authors: This interface can be used to add, remove and reorder authors associated with this abstract submission. You can:

  • Click on "Add myself" to add yourself to the author list.
  • Use the "Search" interface to select authors who have registered a user account on this Indico site.
  • "Enter manually" the name, affiliation and (optionally) contact information for any other authors.

By default, authors are listed in alphabetical order. Click on the ↓AZ icon to deactivate this ordering (button will go from green to grey). This will allow you to manually "drag" entries in the list to reorder authors (click on the ⠿ icon on the left side of a row and drag to the desired position).

Each row will display the author's name, e-mail address, and affiliation. You will need to identify at least one author as presenter/speaker (by clicking on the microphone icon). Please ignore the Author and Co-author categories.

Finally, you are required to select a Contribution type (Oral, Poster or Either) and at least one Track for your submission. A Track is the Indico term for a conference session, e.g., "Transmission Dynamics & Clusters".

When you have completed the abstract submission form, click on Submit to transmit the form to the database. You will receive an automated e-mail from our Indico site (noreply@dynamicsevolution.org) confirming your submission; you may need to check your spam folder. You can also view your submitted abstracts on the Indico event webpage by navigating to the "Call for Abstracts" tab.

The call for abstracts is closed.
